checkyeti is seeking a Backend Developer who thrives on variety and impact — someone who ships fast and still holds a high bar on architecture, testing, and code they can defend in review. In this position, you’ll take direct responsibility for the services that power our platform and build them with AI agents as a core part of the workflow.

Within the Product team, we build event-driven microservices running on AWS, primarily powered by Java, Spring Boot, and Project Reactor. We manage data using MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis, and maintain fast continuous delivery (releasing multiple times weekly) using automated CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Jenkins within an agile framework. Our platform’s AI features run on GCP with Gemini, and we use Claude Code day to day to move faster.
What You Will Do in This Role
You will become a key player in our engineering team. Your mission is to build, scale, and optimize the core backend systems that power our platform:
Build AI-First:** Use Claude Code as your default workflow — from scoping and prototyping to refactoring and test coverage. You’ll help shape how our team works with coding agents: what we automate, where we keep humans in the loop, and how we hold quality steady as output volume goes up.
