Vendor Interface & Technical Support: Act as the technical representative for telecom operators and coordinate with internal Level 3 / R&D teams for issue resolution.
Voice Core Operations & Maintenance: Operate and maintain IMS and voice core elements (e.g., CSCF, HSS/UDM, SBC, MGW, TAS) including VoLTE/VoNR services in virtualized environments.
Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve voice service issues (e.g., SIP signaling, call setup failures, interconnect issues) to ensure high service availability.
Signaling & Interconnect Analysis: Analyze SIP and legacy signaling (SS7/MAP/ISUP) and support roaming as well as inter-operator voice connectivity.
Change Management & Service Quality: Perform system upgrades and configuration changes while monitoring KPIs and improving overall voice service performance.
Anforderungen
Education & Experience: Degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field, or relevant hands-on experience in telecom network environments.
Signaling & Protocol Knowledge: Good understanding of SIP and ideally legacy signaling protocols such as SS7, MAP, or ISUP.
Troubleshooting & Systems: Experience in analyzing voice service issues, working in incident-driven environments, and basic knowledge of Linux systems.
Communication & Ownership: Strong communication skills in customer-facing and international environments, combined with a proactive mindset and high sense of responsibility.
