As a Group Automation Engineer , you support and coordinate group automation activities across global manufacturing sites, driving standardization, consistency, and continuous improvement. You act as a technical lead for strategic automation initiatives in close alignment with local teams and key stakeholders across all sites.
A particular focus of this role will be the automation design and harmonized implementation for new greenfield facilities.
The position will be filled in Vienna (Austria), Springe (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden) or Lingolsheim (France).

Your main tasks and responsibilities
* Develop and maintain group automation standards in alignment with global best practices
* Act as the interface between group and local automation teams to ensure consistent implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of group automation standards across all sites
* Serve as technical lead and provide support for group strategic automation projects, overseeing all phases from concept through completion
* Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, IT, and Maintenance to develop automation solutions aligned with the company's global operations
* Manage and coordinate relationships with strategic vendors and suppliers to drive innovation, enhance system performance, ensure seamless integration, and align solutions with group goals and standards
Your expertise and ideal skill set
* Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or a related field
