Precision oncology has the power to redefine how children with cancer are diagnosed and treated and at St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute (St. Anna CCRI), we are taking this promise to the next level.
To strategically expand our institutional precision medicine program, we are seeking an outstanding Head of Precision Oncology to shape and lead a flagship initiative at the interface of research, molecular diagnostics, and clinical care. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in translating cutting‑edge molecular insights into individualized treatment strategies for pediatric cancer patients. This position is open to candidates at different career stages.
Key responsibilities
Establish and lead the institutional precision oncology program:** Strategically develop and oversee molecular profiling, functional drug sensitivity testing, and multi‑omics integration in close clinical partnership with the St. Anna Children’s Hospital.
Build and operate advanced laboratory and analytical infrastructures:** Design and manage state‑of‑the‑art platforms ensuring high quality standards, efficiency, and scalability.
Translate multi‑omics data into clinical decision‑making:** Integrate genomic and functional data to enable personalized treatment strategies for pediatric cancer patients.
Drive innovation and technology development:** Implement next‑generation sequencing, data analytics, and functional precision medicine approaches.
