Your tasks
The impact you’ll make
At Lam, as a Material Program Manager (MPM), you play a pivotal role in driving supply chain success across development and product programs. You coordinate material and sourcing activities in cross‑functional teams to ensure cost‑effective, scalable, and risk‑resilient supply solutions from early development through manufacturing readiness.
Acting as a key interface between Engineering, Program Management, and suppliers, you help shape sourcing strategies that support innovation, speed, and ramp readiness as well as long‑term operational excellence in Lam’s global supply chain.
What you’ll do
* Lead material and sourcing activities to support New Product Implementation Programs (NPI), ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and manufacturing readiness targets.
* Define and drive program sourcing strategies and related sub‑projects for direct materials, equipment, and services in collaboration with Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Production.
* Perform cost analysis, volume planning, and supply‑risk assessments for assigned programs and suppliers.
* Drive cost engineering, cost reduction, and manufacturing ramp readiness from supplier onboarding to serial release.
