KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Independent management of day-to-day accounting, including asset accounting, and preparation of annual financial statements up to the preliminary balance sheet in accordance with UGB (Austrian Commercial Code)
* Responsible for monthly and annual financial closings
* Preparation of reports and further development of cost accounting
* Dunning and receivables management
* Payment processing and transactions
* Preparation of monthly VAT returns (UVA)
* Assisting with the budgeting process
* Key point of contact for all operational accounting matters and tax queries
* Optimization of ongoing accounting processes and identification of potential for automation
REQUIREMENTS
* Certified Senior Accountant qualification (Bilanzbuchhalterprüfung)
* Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, preferably in a tax advisory/accounting firm
* ·Proficiency in BMD NTCS and MS Office, particularly Excel
* Independent and structured working style
* Excellent affinity for numbers and strong attention to detail
