Senior Accountant (m/f/x) in Nigeria
Our client is a leading international construction and engineering company with a strong presence in Nigeria and a long-standing reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and building projects.
To strengthen the finance and accounting team, we are currently looking for an experienced and committed Senior Accountant (m/f/x).
In this key finance role, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting and cost control, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, tax and regulatory compliance, as well as project cost tracking. You will provide reliable financial insights and support business decision-making in an international project environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records in line with company standards and applicable regulations
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
* Prepare and support financial reports, statements, analyses, and closing activities
* Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost developments in close cooperation with commercial and project management teams
* Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
* Support audits and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors
