IT:U is a new technical university in Austria (Linz) dedicated to digital transformation, driven by interdisciplinary research and project-based learning to actively shape this transformation and advance it with a solution-oriented approach.
Join us as aSenior Third Party Funding Acquisition Specialist (f/m/d).
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Identification and interpretation of funding opportunities** aligned with applicants’ scientific and leadership goals.
Demand-driven support for proposal preparation** for specific funding lines and support for consortium setup, communication, and collaboration.
Liaison with funders** to ensure institutional compliance and up-to-date funder information.
Coordination with IT:U post-award, legal, and other services** during submission and grant preparation.
Contributing to the development of grant management tools** and processes, awareness-raising and training on third-party funding, and institutional reporting.
Supporting the IT:U strategy** on industrial collaboration, large projects, fundraising, and related areas.
Your strengths and skills:
* Finished University degree (preferred on PhD level) in MINT, Life sciences or Social sciences areas.
* Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in research grants preparation, including strategic planning, proposal drafting and coordination proposal preparation work.
* Demonstrated expertise with public research grants, such as EU Framework Programs, FFG, FWF or overseas funding; proven ability to interpret and apply funders' eligibility rules.
* Good command of MS Office and Confluence or similar tools.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German on minimum level C1.
* Professional conduct and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
